Sports Change Lives, and You Can Too

We all have the “Power to Inspire,” yet few of us actually leverage this power to help others in need. At the PWSA Annual Awards Dinner , we all have the opportunity to show the women and girls in our community that we care about their wellbeing and futures.
The April 25 event is much more than a dinner and auction. It’s the chance to change lives. The chance to give underserved girls a voice. The chance to give underserved girls a means to a better future full of success, lifelong fitness and happiness.
We don’t start our lives on a fair playing field. Some of us grow up in tough neighborhoods. Some of us don’t have much money and a college degree may seem like a pipe dream. Participation in sports can change all of that. PWSA helps females reach their athletic goals and provides them with the opportunity to create success on their own terms.
Your donations make these dreams possible, and we highly encourage you to attend. The “Power to Inspire” is a two-way street. Not only will your attendance provide much-needed funding for females throughout Arizona, you’ll hear compelling stories from young women, such as our keynote Jennie Finch, who wouldn’t be where they are today without the opportunity to participate in sports. You’ll undoubtedly be inspired to increase your own fitness levels and help others do the same.
